Recently engaged!!! Cruise Wedding Maybe???

My fiance and I got engaged recently on Christmas Eve We are both teachers so we can't afford to have a big extravagant wedding. We are really considering having a cruise wedding. I was looking at different cruise lines but I'm just so lost.
If any of you have had your wedding on a cruise can you please give me some information and advice. Thanks

Which cruiselines are you considering? It will help us to steer you in the right direction for reviews and information since the packages for all of the lines are all so different.

We booked our cruise wedding onboard RCI Enchantment. We looked at a few cruise lines and destinations an agreed on the Caribbean in April as we've never been there.

We knew our families would come so we have 10 guests altogether so keeping it small and intimate.

We asked RCI for a brochure and chose the wedding package we wanted. We havent chosen any of their reception options because we didnt like the food options and time restrictions. Instead, 2 months before we travel we will book one of the speciality restaurants for all 12 of us, along with a drinks package.

As a lot of family and friends arent coming on the cruise we are having a party back 2 weeks after we return home.

My oldest son and his fiance has set a date and they want to get married on board, what can they expect.

We are considering Carnival from Miami. I know many of my family members will not be able to afford to go on a cruise so I think it would be best to have the wedding before the ship sets sail.

That is was my son and his are looking at for February 2014 on the Victory. For those who cannot make it they are planning a small e\reception at our church where they will show an actual video of the wedding. They still have not booked will do it on Wednesday
