Technically, no. But I keep read that this rule is enforced arbitrarily so I don't know what to think.

Last year NOLA was extremely vigilant in enforcing the no outside beverages allowed rule. That of course included wine as well as soda and water. I don't know how they are going to handle that now wine is allowed to be brought on board.

PG,
Did you end up trying to check a case of water at the port?

We checked a case of packaged water bottles on Oasis a week ago with no problem at all. Also carried on four bottles of wine (we had two cabins).

Thanks for the replies! I am looking more specifically for information on anyone who may have tried to check a case of water curbside in NOLA for Navigator . I had heard in the past that it may have been more difficult or not allowed at this port.

Default And the answer is...

Just back from NOS, wrapped two cases of water with tape and slapped a tag on it and they both got on, had two cabins.

No problems at all.
