Decent Vacation Video Editing Software?

Last year I recorded our vacation and ship wedding using various GoPros and an iPad. Many videos are 4K, the rest are 1080P. The wedding itself was captured using 2 GoPros, a 4K iPad, and a 4-track audio recorder.

I'd like to take various video clips, dub in some music, use the actual recorded audio at some points, and for the wedding portion be able to have a consistent audio source (I figure the 4-track recording) and be able to switch angles on the master at will, creating a final video which will only be 1080P.

I am a very technical person, but have never played with video editing before at this level. I've seen some AMAZING videos online that people have put together and just not sure what they've used. Since I've seen quite a few done by children, I'm assuming they probably used a Mac and iMovie or something similar. Since I'm using a PC, does anyone know of anything that might accomplish what I'm looking for? I'm not looking for Final Cut Pro :)

I've got quite a few PCs, Core I7 with 24 - 32GB RAM.. and TB's of space.. So processing shouldn't be an issue...

I'd love suggestions if anyone has any :)

Oh! Also, I've noticed some interesting music dubbed over the videos people have done.. How on earth do people find these songs?
