We've been doing this for years - it's now catching on and the prices are a bit higher. We've found others not listed, and we just call ahead and check out their capacity for the day we'll be in port --- and hop in a cab as soon as the ship has been cleared. We haven't found a port in the Caribbean or the Mex. Riviera that doesn't have several of these to offer.
This is the best deal i have found, its Sandals located in Nassau and its $90 dollars pp adults only and its all inclusive water sports, restuarants, non-alcoholic and alcoholic bevrages and the use of their private island. Snorkling, kayaking and wind surffing its all included. they have 3 pools with bars in them and 3 restuarants that are all inclusive. By far the best deal.

We just returned from the April 4th Solstice sailing and spent the day at the St. Kitts Marriott. We had the day pass that included a room. What a fantastic place - one of the best days of my vacation.
I have tried emailing a resort in Cozumel but haven't received a reply. Should I call the resort? We are sailing June 6th on the Legend and want to spend the day at a resort.
and it was just ok. They gave us a room to shower and change in and I don't remember where we were. I think a Marriott in Aruba. The pool was ok but the beach was across the road. The food and drinks were fine and they had a good casino where I covered a lot of our expense. I would rather go to a small resort and pay to rent an umbrella and a few chairs and spend my money at the bar and restaurant like Secret Harbor in St. Thomas.
I did this in St. Kitts and never again, I paid 50.00 did not get a room for the day, sorry they were full..We did get the use of the pool, hotel etc. WOW.. ended up changing in the bathroom..then we head to the beach, and it's a public beach all beaches in St. Kitts are public..I spoke to a few other people I recognized from the ship and they just walked through the front door of the hotel, to the beach and didn't pay a cent. That's what I will do next time..I had pre arranged this months in advance and felt I should have brought the emails with me promising a room for the day..Now I will know for the next time.
The concept is great when it works..
