Best beach for snorkeling in Costa Maya

We are going to Costa Maya for the first time in March and love to snorkel. Where would you suggest? What is the best beach to go snorkeling from? We will be on Carnival, is there an excrusion you would highly recommend rather then a beach stop for snorkeling?
