single cruise help please

iam going on my 1st single cruise on board star 10/30/05 . iam going alone ,with vacation to go so anything help full thanks chefjhh:eek:

Go to singles party first night and meet other singles. Join shore ex throught cruise line or on your own. The cruise line ones at least will have people from on board that maybe you can share your adventure with.

Which Star?

I am a seasoned solo cruiser. Altough I check out the single events I have yet to meet anyone really interesting. I think there are a segment of us solo cruisers who just do not go to those.

I have generally been lucky with table mates and hopefully you will be as well; that is if your ship offers traditional dining instead of anytime dining.

I spend my time doing what I enjoy which is working out, reading in the sun, finding great beaches in port, etc. I have found it easy to meet people when I am interested in doing so. I also enjoy my time alone.

I am a wine drinker so I frequent the wine or champagne bar and make friends with the bartender. It's where I spend my happy hours and often have an after dinner drink.

I think solo cruising is a great experience and I am sure you will have a blast!
