Journey 26th Oct excursions query.

Hi Andy/Bill
I also need some help from the shore ex dept. regarding the Athens to Venice cruise. I realise that this is a changed itinerary but there are still obvious mistakes in the excursions listed despite them being updated last week.

My specific question at present is could someone please clarify if there is an Athens sightseeing tour on 26th (embarkation day) and where it leaves from. We have booked flights, hotel and transfers with Azamara. It is listed as departing quayside at 8.30am which is clearly no use to us as we will be in the Hilton! Interestingly I looked at excursions for Quest cruise departing from Athens 1st August and the same excursion is listed. I phoned Azamara UK and they told me that this was for people finishing their cruise in Athens, why then is it listed in the brochure for our cruise?

Any clarification on this would be much appreciated as we are wondering if we need to book a private tour.

I think the October 15th excursions are still work in progress as well

The Athens excursion is only available for those disembarking and with a hotel booked (City Center drop off - you would need to walk or take a taxi to your hotel), or flights after (I think) 3:30/4:00PM.

Almost everyone we met had flights much earlier. Our flight was around 2:00PM, and we booked a private driver and went to the Temple of Poseidon prior to being dropped off at the airport at 11:00AM.
