Slot Play coupons

Can you use them on any slot machine or are you limited to just certain ones?

You will need to go to the Host desk and sign up for a CAS card if you don't have one (don't worry, it's free and rewarding if you play a lot!). They will then enable your card to have the "slot play credits" where you can go to any slot and play your credits.

We used these on our July cruise and without any issue at all. However, strangely enough, I remember several pax. (one belligerent woman in particular) having issues with their bar codes showing as invalid...The desk warned me we might have that same issue, but it scanned just fine for us.

Have a great cruise!

I've used them on several ships without a problem. Sometimes their internet access is slow (no kidding!) but eventually, you'll have $50 loaded on your account. I think I saw some machines with signs that they did not accept the promotional credits.

Are there rules on cashing out early? Do you have to use the full value of the coupon, or can you cash out prior to that...?

You have to play the full $50.00 in the slots, but not necessarily on the same machine. Only download what you want to play on that machine. You can keep any winnings you earn as a result of playing. Example: you play $ .50 a spin and you download $10.00. You MUST play $ .50 for 20 times, using up your $10.00. If you have credits left after your 20 spins, you can cash out for a ticket and redeem it at the cage.

I hope this makes sense and I didn't confuse you even more :)

Nope, that's perfectly clear!

I'm not a gambler at all, but I was trying to skirt the rules and use the "free" $25 on my bar tab instead. Just wanted to make sure I couldn't do that. Glad NCL has rules against sneaky people like me :)

Can someone please explaine to me what these credit are and how you get them? I love slot machines and we are going on the Sky in a few weeks.

As Caliterp07 has stated when you Google it, look for Norwegian, and the ship, Sky

If you go on NCL's main site look under their Bon Voyage pkg's for Casino, look for item# 721, for $10,each you get $20 per person.;)

we used both on the Sun, DW and myself.

Spent $70 got $140, or $70 each

hope this help's, enjoy your cruise :D

Thank you for the link. =) I will be purchasing this for my husband and I as well as the NCL promo I saw in the bon voyage special.

Quick question. Let's say I win $100 (and have approx $45 from the promo left) and would rather cash out. When I cash out they will just keep the $45 from the promo and give me the $100? Also, can I just keep the card through the whole trip or do I need to cash out each night?

Although I didn't have problems the first two times I used these coupons, I did encounter a problem on the Dawn last week.

My printer at home wasn't working so I tried to print the coupons at work. However, the Slot Play Coupon site was blocked due to it being related to gambling. The email with the coupon order details suggested to me, that it would be acceptable to redeem the coupon based on a printed email (and in fact it was acceptable on my Epic cruise in February). I took my printed email to the host desk but I was refused because it wasn't the actual coupon. I was advised that due to auditing purposes, the Slot Play Coupon people now required the actual coupon. The host suggested that I go to the ship's internet to print off the coupons becuase she couldn't help me otherwise.

I used the ship's internet to retrieve my coupons. It was kind of expensive because:

1) I had forgotten my user name and password

2) I couldn't remember the answer to the security question (yes, I'm a loser! Lol)

3) The ship's internet is slow and I was paying by the minute

4) It costs to print

So, be sure to print the actual coupon to avoid any problems.

If the Slot Play Coupon people are reading this - please take out the line "Print this email" so that others don't experience the same frustration that I did; make it clear that the actual coupon is required. Thanks!

The card may be used through out the cruise...the promo play will be loaded on you casinos at sea card, and you will want to insert that card when at a machine to collect the points and possible rewards.

When you approach a machine, you insert the card and follow the instructions provided by the casino host. you decide how much of your promo money to put on that machine for that session. Only move all $50 if you are sure you want to play all $50 in that machine at that sitting. I put in less. let's say I am at a dollar machine playing, betting one. If I move $20 from my promo onto that dollar machine, I must push the button at least twenty times. After those twenty spins, I will have "spent" my promo money and everything still on the machine is my winnings...I can cash out those winnings or continue to play them. I was lucky and have 100 on the machine after my twenty spins. I could hit the cash out button, collect my paper slip in the amount of $100 and take my card (now with $30 dollars of my $50 promo left to use in that or another machine or at another time.

Since this is recent, and you know the details best...You should think about contacting Slot Play yourself...Just a suggestion -- You might get some great person who will go above and beyond the call. :D
