Default cabin guarantee

We are booked for an AD category on Island on 10/6 and were told that we have a AD guarantee. When do we find out what cabin we actually have? How soon before sailing?

Go to Princess website, go to cruise personizer, enter your booking number and name. It will tell you if your cabin has been assigned. I am on the Sapphine princess on 6/13 with a similar cabin guarantee. I got a 4 category upgrade. This is my 15th Princess cruise and they assign cabins based on when you booked and your previous cruise history with line. On my last HAL cruise I got a 3 category upgrade with a guarantee. I have always asked for a guarantee and usually get an upgrade. I had my cabin assignment on the Sapphire a month ago and we sail in 4 weeks. Try the cruise personalizer. I use the same system on HAL and Celebrity.

Thank you for the answers. I'll keep hoping. As I've had over 10 cruises with Princess may even get an upgrade although I'll be happy with what I get.

Ia, between now and then, keep an eye on the cabins "above" yours, if they are open, you many move, it they fill, welcome to your guaranteed cabin level.
