Shanghai port..where?

Hi, does anyone know where the dock for the Statendam will be in Shanghai?

We'll be on the April 3 sailing. thanks

Hi, Anniecat. My DH and I are booked on the 4/17/06 Statendam sailing and asked HAL this same question (back in September). They provided us the following response:

At this time, we don't have the pier information on these ports for 2006, but we do have the Ground

Operator's e-mail address.

Upon email to penavico.sh.cn, we received this prompt reply regarding docking information for the Statendam in Shanghai and Beijing:

In Shanghai,M/S Statendam will dock alongside GaoYang Cruises

Terminal(under re-construction) which is very close to THE BUND.

In XinGang,she can also dock at XinGang pax/ferry terminal with terminal

building.

The Bund is essentially downtown Shaghai. Its right accross the street from the Peace Hotel(there is a Citbank branch on the first floor)....taxi's are plentiful and inexpensive.

really appreciate the info.....some ships 'park' two hours away according to a tour guide we've emailed to and fro. Decided to use the ship rent-a-van service since there are four of us......can't wait:D
