New cruiser...is it warm to lay out on ship or windy?

IMO...Both...

 

I think that's what is nice about being on a ship...the weather is so warm even hot, but the wind (either kissed by mother nature , or just the fact that you're going 17 knotts) seems to keep you a little cooler. It can be a real nuisance but when the ship is in port and you're laying on that deck...MAN IT'S HOT! So you get used to the wind but it isn't anything (in normal conditions) that has kept us inside.
