Stupid Question about Electricity connections on Balmoral

Living in Canada and about to travel on the Balmoral in April 2012 we are concerned about the electrical connections. We use 110V for our hair dryers etc. I know the ship travels the NA waters regularly and hope this is not an issue. How about England as we visit this fine country in advance for 4 days? We can buy converters etc. is this the way to go with these issues. Thank You for any advice.

I am quoteing from Freds. cruise book,Voltage-110volts-60cycle(US style2 pin plug is required) and 220volt-60 cycle(a Continental style 2 pin plug is required),adapters can be hired from reception or bought in the shop.

For British 3 pin plugs you will need an adapter, can be bought anywhere-airport etc.

Sorry can,t be of more help.:)
