Good Plan? And Buying Soda

My husband and I will be there in November in port from 10 AM to 6 PM. We are thinking about going to Atlantis to see the yachts, marina village, and walk around the casino and donate a few bucks. We may also go to the Atlantis aquarium depending on our moods. How much time will this take? Is the water taxi the best transportation to use? Is there anything nearby Atlantis that would be cool to see?

Also, is there a good place to buy a 12 pack of soda near the port?

There is a small grocery store a couple blocks from the Straw Market. Just ask someone will point it out. But be aware a 6 pk of Coke was 4.50. Also grab a 6 pack of Goombay Punch..Its pretty good.

Is it really true that they let you go back on the ship with a 6 pack of soda? Should I hide it in the towel, or do they truly allow you to bring it on board without any problems?

We had no problem..we brought a six pack of coke and a six pack of Goombay punch back...left it in the sack from the grocery store

Oh, well that's awesome, now I just have to make sure to find that grocery store. Do I have to go past the straw market, or is it before it?

I never heard of Goombay punch so I googled it. Found a description on amazon, all the reviewers were raving about how good it is. Definitely want to try it.

I cant remember exactly where it is, but there is a burger king across the street from it, I'm sure anyone will point it out to you.

Goombay punch was good, just make sure it is cold...to be honest it taste a lot like pineapple faygo.
