What will you choose?

Hi everyone,

We booked Ovation of the Seas for our family of 4. We booked large ocean view stateroom. I notice that it will be a little cheaper getting 2 rooms, inside stateroom with virtual balcony.

Should we stay Ocean View stateroom or go with 2 inside stateroom .

I would go with the two rooms. Everyone gets a real bed (as opposed to a sofa bed or upper berth), and you'll have 2 bathrooms.

We did quad cabins when our kids were very young (like under 10) and they could both sleep comfortably on the sofa bed, but once the oldest reached 10 years old, we switched to two cabins to have more space and two bathrooms. Edited April 25, 2016 by DonnaK

When given a choice of space or view - I would probably take space. Especially if the other choice means 4 people in one room. No doubt about it - space.

Another vote for two staterooms. Some added privacy that way.

By the way, I forgot it is for the 12 night cruise. Thanks for your replies.

From what I understand, the quality of the virtual balcony display is stellar, so if I didn't want to spring for an actual balcony room, I'd be more than happy with an inside room with the video wall.

I agree with the others. These rooms are already a bit small to begin with. You wouldn't regret it.

Had this very issue with myself, wife, and SIL in a single balcony and moved us to 2 inside connected rooms when they became available. I don't regret it a bit.

I am continuing to make this unanimous.
