Miami - Hyatt Regency SE 2nd or Marriott Biscayne Bay

Cruising on Escape next August 20.

Booking a room for Friday the 19th. I am looking at these two hotels. Any comments or ideas ? Thanks Gerry

I would go with the Hyatt. I like its location better particularly if you want to walk to restaurants and stores. I just don't feel as safe on foot in the Biscayne Bay area so if it was me I would go with the Hyatt. I would also look at the Marriott downtown on Brickell as it is a few minute walk from Mary Brickell Village with lots of restaurants and stores and a Publix Grocery Store should you need any last minute items. A Conrad Hilton is also close by.

Thanks Keith, just the kind of info I was looking for. JW Marriott Marquis ? Now...Joe's Stone Crab, open in August ? Trulucks ? Any other good seafood recommendations ? Nice water view, etc. Thanks so much Gerry.
