Well I say you got a hell of a deal! The lowest I found for that place is $181 AND up to $399!

Anyway, I have book the Element Miami Int. Airport. They have a cruise package includes their standard airport and area shuttle, hot breakfast and port shuttle for $119 + taxes. The Marriott does not provide shuttles. Give that some thought

Hotel rates vary wildly in places like South Florida where you have high & low tourist seasons. Typically late Summer and Fall have the best rates in this region which would help explain the great rate you landed. Go to Tripadvisor.com to check reviews on the hotel, specifically. Good luck!

I haven't stayed at this particular proper but have visited their twice.

It is relatively new, a very nice location about 10 minutes from the port via car/taxi, used by tourist, groups such as cruise lines for pre and post cruises and by business travelers.

It is always included on my list of recommended hotels for this area.

The JW Marriott Marquis is an outstanding hotel, in an fantastic part of Miami. You can walk to everything in downtown, or take a multitude of free transportation options.

The Element too is a nice place. But I only recommend that one if you have no interest in seeing Miami and just want a place to sleep.
