Cant find any live feed... this is the best I can do:o but it is significant just the same! Just to the right of Gatun Locks on the graphic you will see the ship "Baroque" moving towards Gatun Lake. Even marinetraffic.com has not updated the graphic to show the new locks, so it almost appears the Baroque is moving over land depending on the zoom level. This the first use of the locks with a neo-Panamax ship. It will only lock up to Gatun Lake and then back down later....

Hope someone brought the key to the locks;):)

I looked at the canal in satellite view. You can see the ship in the actual canal . The Gatun lock satellite photos haven't been updated but you can it in the construction zone.I use AIS Vessel tracking.

Here is a link to an article with some good shots of the test lockage at Agua Clara Locks Yesterday, June 9. The first picture might be of particular interest as it shows the bridge piers being erected for the new Atlantic Bridge, doesn't have an official name yet.

Take a "rapid transit" through the Agua Clara Locks on the chartered vessel the Canal is using for the trial lockages prior to next week's official opening.

The MV Baroque starts in Gatun Lake, locks down to Limon Bay where it turns around and then locks back up through Agua Clara to Gatun Lake.

From the Canal Administrator's fb page.
