School Supplies

I am thinking about taking school supplies with us on our cruise and leaving them here when we port since it isn't a real wealthy area. I did this in Honduras and absolutely loved it! Anyone have any experience doing this?!?

Chicxulub is a small fishing village 7 km east of Progreso. We spend the winter in Chicxulub. Canadian and US residents of Chicxulub have set up the Chicxulub Food Bank. In addition to helping residents with food needs, the Food Bank has programs in the schools including working with cruise ship passengers. Many volunteers are winter residents and school will be in recess until the end of summer. I would contact them at their e-mail addreess.
