with a sofa (oceanview cabins) you will have a place to sit- to watch tv or have someplace else to sit while waiting for someone getting ready for dinner

the way the beds on the floor are put-- the person on the side of the bed where the upper bed is-- will have a hard time getting in/out of bed.

putting the beds together in a cabin with more then 2 people-- it will take up your floor space

Thanks! Do either of you have a picture of what the room looks like looking from the bed, out to the front door? (Reverse view)? Thanks so much! Just trying to decide if we should switch rooms or not. Our 2 year old daughter would be sleeping with us... maybe we could use that upper bed to put things on (beach bags, souviners, umbrella stroller, etc.)

we sailed with an 18 month- but we had a sofa-

I dont know if putting her in the middle of the bed will work since it is two beds together-- she would be sleeping on the "hump" sounds uncomfortable.

we used the closet that stored the robes./lifejackets for the stroller.

(an umbrella type one will get around the ship a bit better then the bigger ones. it also stored in under the bed. (but that is where we stored the empty suitcases.

How much more to upgrade to the oceanview?

inside cabins are extreme darkenss 24/7 which will be good for naps-- but what are you and honey gonna do when she is sleeping?

you could ask for a pack and play and store it between the beds?
