Bringing Beverages Aboard

Crusing Nut

Go right ahead. DW and I bring four twelve-packs of soda and water with us. We pick it up locally between our pre-cruise hotel stay and boarding the ship. We leave extra room for the beverages in our luggage, which then becomes room for taking home souveniers, but you can just slap a luggage tag on it and it will be brought to your cabin. I heard of someone who duct-taped the packs together for easier handling. Have the cabin steward clear our the mini fridge-- it'll keep cans cool, though not cold. Anything we don't finish, we leave as an extra bonus for the steward.

It's fun drinking an A&W Cream Soda and having people ask me where I got it, and I reply, "Fort Lauderdale.":D

We love Publix and Total Wine in Ft. Lauderdale. Just bring an empty duffle! Easy!

Where do you suggest in San Juan to pick up soft drinks? I am diabetic and want to bring some diet Squirt or diet 7-Up if they carry it in Puerto Rico.
