Default Hair dryer ? (Island Princess)

We are booked in a mini suite. Do all cabins have built in hair dryers??

The only Princess ships that have "built-in" hairdryers are the small ships .... the Ocean and the Pacific Princess. On those ships the dryer is permanently attached to the bathroom wall.

On the rest of Princess' ships have a regular plug in hairdryer on the desk in the cabin.
IMO those dryers are "wimpy" , particularly if one has long and/or thick hair. I have short thick hair and it takes a long time for their dryer to get mine dry, and also makes it hard to style my hair to my satisfaction. Consequently, I bring my travel dryer with me when I cruise.

Default Hairdryers

I agree with Flamomo about whimpy hairdryers. Bring your own travel and you will be much happier. I have very fine hair and it still way too long to dry. Have a great trip!

The rest of the Princess ships have a wall mounted hairdryer at the desk. some people feel it is too weak. My wife has never had a problem with them.

Although not a mini-suite, the photo below from the Island shows the hairdryer on the wall above the phone on the desk. The mini-suite hairdryer should also be at the desk.

If you use the hair dryer to simply dry your hair they are fine. If you are using the dryer to style your hair you are better off bringing your own.

Can't imagine how you could style your hair with the air coming out of a larger round or square hole--I need all the help I can get--also bring all my styling products including shampoo and conditioner--plus a lot more

We were on the Island last May and I was glad I brought my own hair dryer. My hair is relatively short, but it would have taken forever to dry and style it using the Princess dryer.
