Temperature in January?

Will it be too cold to sit out on the beach? I'm a Floridian, so 60-70 degrees is cold to lay out on the beach for me… I want to make reservations but don't want to be locked into something if it's going back to be too cold out.

From accuweathe.com here were the temps in Cozumel January 2014. I cannot find Costa Maya location. It is south of Cozumel so should be a touch warmer. I'll be there in January also, but coming from Kansas City any warmth will feel wonderful!!

Should be around 80f and you don't need reservations to go to the beach. There is 20 or so beach clubs that you just walk in. :)

I am from Boston and anything above 30 degrees in January will be great!! We are cruising Jan 25 on the Dawn

We will be there the first week of January - we are sailing on Carnival Splendor :) Anything above 50 and no wind will be great for us - we live on a small island off the coast of rhode island and the winters are long and cold
