LIVE from MAJESTY of the Seas - February 3, 2017

Don’t blink. Seriously, don’t bat your eyes for more than a tenth of a second because this brief 3-night Super Bowl weekend cruise will probably be over by the time you get to this joystick emoji [emoji973].

Our 5-night Grandeur trip last year was the shortest cruise we had ever done up until that point. Now grab a ridiculously dull Bic razor blade and shave off a couple of more days and I start to wonder if flying down for this 72-hour pedal boat ride is even worth it.

I plan to periscope a little ( @yorkvillain ) but probably not much since this cruise will be overflowing with a plethora of All-Star scopers from the Royal Caribbean Periscopers social media group (no, not Myspace). So if you’re in a bind this weekend and in desperate need of some highly entertaining and informative scopes from a pint-sized no frills geriatric 25-year-old cruise ship, block me but make sure you follow @CruiseLifeRick, @KCJarvis, @NickVitani and about 26,428 others who will be skipping around and crashing into each other with their iPhone12’s parked in front of their faces to document every second and cover every rusty inch of the ship.

I don't see the point in going through all that for less than a 7 day cruise. My wife won't go longer (yet). I'll convince her the same way that I made a Yankee fan out of her.

Besides the cruise I get the spend the day on Thursday with my mother in Melbourne, FL. So overall it's a pretty productive trip.

And thank you for making your wife a Yankees fan. Hopefully you are both Islanders fans as well.

With several Oasis, Quantum, Freedom and Voyager class cruises under our belts, we decided it was finally time to turn back the clock and get crazy in 2016 by sampling the Vision class for the first time (spoiler - LOOOVED IT!). So after handing in our Vision Virginity cards, we decided to keep that downward spiral going in 2017 by experimenting with the Sovereign class for the very first time. At this regression rate our cruises in 2022 will probably be on an amusement park log flume ride.

Next month we will be on the Navigator for 9 nights for a Southern Caribbean ABC islands cruise. So I guess this Nassau/Cococay trip should be dubbed the NC islands cruise? That might be a little confusing. Some might conclude that we are cruising to the Tarheel state. Does the CN islands cruise flow off the tongue a little better? I don't know. Your call.

This review will be more exciting than game on Sunday.:D ;)

I have a small circle on the bottom... I'm just a warmup performer (Periscopers) I guess lol.

This will be one epic cruise and I hope it goes smoothly for everyone. Make sure to come on MY walking tour of Nassau. Also we have a list of "events and activities" planned for anyone who wants to join us. It all starts Friday at 9:00 AM at Grills Restaurant right next to the ship!!

The ship at Coco Cay will give you plenty of opportunities to snap your own memorable pics.
