Early Shuttle Off Freedom

 Share

Recommended Posts

We will be sailing on Freedom for our first cruise next month (can't believe I can finally say NEXT MONTH!). Our return flight out of Houston leaves at 2:30p. Our shuttle has 2 pickup times - 8:30a and 12p. Is it unreasonable to expect to make the 8:30a shuttle if we do self disembarkation? Up until now I haven't been stressed about the planning at all. Now I'm worried. Please tell me I can relax. :D

personally I would be at least a little concerned.. sorry.

Fog, customs, other delays might happen to cause you to miss the 8:30am shuttle

I would have a plan B ready in case you miss the 8:30am shuttle. I don't think the 12:00 one will work.

Plan ahead. have a cab phone number ready or just have a documented plan you can turn to if needed

who are you booking a shuttle with?

the Carnival shuttle leaves every 30 minutes or so, whenever the bus fills up. Maybe you should switch to that in order to make your flight.

the ride takes an hour to Hobby airport if traffic is moving, but Houston is notorious for traffic jams and closed roads for construction on weekends.
