I hope I spelt that right;)

I have read many post but can't find the answer I am looking for.

I am booking this through Carnival and the times show as 9 AM , 9:45 and 10:15....and I guess the bus leaves every 1/2 so you can leave when you want. My question is at getting there. Do we want to get there early???? The ship is suppose to be in port from 8 - 3.

What do you think???

I would recommend going early. We were on the first or second bus and the beach was not crowded. Later in the day more people arrived. Plus people who went on the canopy tour are taken to Tabyana after that.

Here's two photos I took of Tabyana with comments about the excursion:

Not great photos, but at least you'll have an idea of the place.

  • 2 weeks later...

Take the early bus...it's about 30 minute bus ride to the beach and the last bus leaves the beach around 2 or 2:30. Getting there first gives you the choice of where to sit...do you want a little shade etc. We loved this beach..it was our favourite stop of the entire cruise. We would have liked to have had more time there. The snorkelling was excellent. The time went by way to fast. Also, if you want to shop, there isn't much at the pier, so you might want to check out the shops at Tabyana beach. I'm sorry I didn't buy anything there.
