Only bummer is using it at shows or in large groups of people. The glowing screen can be really irritating to those around you when you're in a darker situation, and in groups of people, they tend to get held up to shoot over other people's head, thus blocking the view of others behind you.

I mostly used my canon camera on sports mode and my iPhone. The phone did panoramas of Glaciers and mountains. Whatever you use, have it at the ready, not where you have to dig for it.

Just remember to show consideration to your fellow photographers if you are close together. It can sometimes be annoying with a large iPad with a cover that hangs down and therefore 'fills a lot' - even an iPad mini.
