Deck plan symbols

Anyone know what a symbol on the deck plans looking like an arrow means?

Looking on the Jewell deck 8 cabin 8573? and 8575?

Connecting cabins...there will be a door in the cabin, connecting it to the other one..

sometimes this results in a love seat versus a sofa...or maybe even just a chair....

I believe it means they are connecting cabins.

Yes..connecting cabins...and I personally avoid those. JMHO

There is a connecting room symbol but there is also asterisk and another small arrow type thing going the other direction. Have never seen this before so not sure what it means

asterisk means it has a third bed available(pulman) and the double arrow heads show you which hallway the room door is located on.

the asterisk is for a pullman bed..

does the deck plan you're looking at not have a key to the symbols??:eek::confused:

Thanks!! I did know what the asterisk meant just wasn't sure about the double arrow, but that makes sense as there are no rooms only halls on the opposite side.

Also the deck plans I was looking at shows everything but the double arrows that was why I was confused!
