Pre-cruise days in Montreal

 Share

Recommended Posts

We are staying at the Hyatt (pre-cruise) and looking forward to exploring the city. Any suggestions for must see/do? We are doing the Fall Escape on Crystal Serenity which leaves from Quebec City on October 18 and disembark in Manhattan on Oct 25. Also, any tips for our other ports of call -- Baie-Comeau, Gaspe, Bar Harbor & Boston. Thanks much.

Depends what interests you

Old Montreal is a fun area to explore with lots of good restaurants

St Joseph's Oratory

Notre Dame Cathedral which IMO is nicer that its name sake in Paris

The miles and miles on underground mall shopping

If you are a wine buff rent a car and do a winery tour in the Eastern Townships only an hour outside of Montreal

Plus in this area you will see lots of beautiful foliage and even find some old wooden covered bridges...
