Mr. & Mrs. Rittenhouse

We bought 100 shares of RCL stock because we read that one of the perks was onboard credit. We have booked our first Azamara cruise since buying stock expecting to be given $250 in credit. We were told that since we got such a "good price" on our cruise that we will receive no credit. We also own Carnival stock and have had no problem receiving the onboard credit from them when booking through the same travel agent with similar pricing deals.
How can a respected company make such a decision? If $250 is too much, then why not reduce the amount slightly to compensate for a lower fare?

We are shareholders, also, and have always gotten an onboard credit of $200, never $250, though. Once in a while we have been denied, so I have resubmitted the request and then always had it approved. Perhaps you might want to try again.

I believe that RCI companies only allow Share-holder OBC if no other offer has been taken up. Carnival Group seem to include it whenever.

I have Carnival shares and have saved a 'packet', but have resisted RCI because of the restrictions.
