The Plaid PlaceI bought both my nieces gorgeous kilts with matching sweaters at a place right on the pier next to the Sheraton casino. Don't know the name of it, though.

But no address or website that I could fine, you you will have to call.
Do you mean Casino Nova Scotia. That's at Upper Water right near the Barrington shops. I thought that the ships dock near Port 21 on Lower water. I think the Barrington shops are now called Scotia Square... but it's been a good few years since I've been to YHZ.Yes, I meant the Sheraton with the casino. Maybe the Barrington one is the same one I went to. I looked at the map for the one mentioned, though, and Mapquest made it look like the other side of the street.
Its been a few years since I have been in Halifax but I think Barrington Square and Scotia Square are across the street from one antother. Maybe a Haligonian (sp?) could confirm this. Can we get one out of the pub long enough to read a message board?
Can we get one out of the pub long enough to read a message board?A low blow to be sure. But I have stayed at the Prince George Hotel when the pubs have let out and I don't think I have ever heard anything quite like it...even on Granville St. in Vancouver.

Never have I heard so many discussions about if it's legal to carry alcohol in the trunk of your car on a Sunday and pubs.
