Question Recommendations for Dawn 2 BR Family Suite?

I'm looking at booking the Dawn and want to get a two bedroom family suite since it will be my son, his girlfriend and me. I love the suite perks, but know that 'coat-tailing' non-suite guests is frowned upon so it all three of us will be sharing one suite.

Looking at the deck plan, I don't think I want one right at the elevator/stairway, but since I've not been on the Dawn yet, are there any of the 2 BR Suites that are 'special' to anyone? It looks like deck 12 has cabins in this area and deck 10 is all cabins. (Yea!!! Learned about being under the pool deck the hard way on a different ship....)

Thoughts from previous Dawn cruisers?

If concerned about traffic noise take one of the forward ones fewer people will go that way.

Cool

We have been on the Dawn several times in the 2 bedroom. Same suite everytime. You really can't go wrong with any of them. They are fantastic suites. The only additional noise we heard was if it were real windy at night you could hear some creaking. Was not a deal breaker for us as we have had the same suite 3 times. Next year we have changed suites. There are only 2 of us so we do not need the extra bedroom! Actually we never needed the extra room it was just nice to have all the space with 2 bathrooms.

Haven't heard much difference over the years about any of the rooms. As said, just check what is above you which is pretty much just rooms.

Search for the post by chesneygirl (sp) and there is a video of one of the rooms.

Our suite on the Jade was right off the forward elevator. Very few traffic and very quiet, didn't have any problem.

Thanks, everybody! I wondered if the elevator area would be noisy, but sounds like we'll be fine with any cabin we choose. I appreciate the info!
