Cove balcony price drop

i keep seeing all of these posts for price drops. Has anyone with a cove balcony had a price drop? We are booked on the dream for sept with a cove balcony and have only seen increases.

Yep... On the Breeze in December the price for a Cove Balcony went up and up from when we booked until about 90 days before sailing. Then it started back down and we eventually ended up with about $100 per person OBC.

we booked our upcoming dream cove balconies late July last year and have yet to see a price drop. nothing but increase albeit small increases I'm hoping since I'm now inside of 90 days and yes I have to say it, with negative publicity from triumph, the price will drop to attract cruisers etc. But from everything I've read the price really doesn't drop on these

We're on the Dream in October and haven't seen price drops either, only increases. Thought with all the Triumph talk we might get one but no luck. I also noticed a few weeks back that all coves are sold out on my sailing, so unless someone cancels or a travel agent has a bunch of unsold coves I think we're SOL on that note. But I'll keep checking til 2 days before the sailing.

Sorry about no price drop on the Dream, but 2 weeks ago when I checked cove prices for our April 21st sailing on the Breeze there was a BIG price drop. We have 3 in the cabin and thanks to the More = Merrier price we got a $257 on board credit. It pays to check this board! Thanks everyone!!!!

I have 2 cove balconies booked on the Breeze in 3 weeks - we have 3 pax in each cove and have an OBC of $520 per ROOM because the price has come down that much after final payment. So yes, to answer your question it does happen! :)

I booked a Memorial week cruise on the Magic last week and saw the Cove balcony price dropped today. I've got a call into my TA. Yippee!

Yep, we had about $200 in OBC on our February Breeze cruise. The prices were high originally, IMO.

On January 13 booked Dream for July. Just this month have had $220 in price drops. 3 drops- 50, 30 and 30 per person. Category 7c.

We've collected $200 in price drops so far on our cove on Magic in August. First time we've gotten drops on a cove!

Soooooo jealous, still no price drops!

I booked a cove on the Dream in Feb. '12 for Jan. '13 cruise and never got a drop. By the time we cruised the price was over 100 more than our original purchase price.

We have had 4 or 5 price drops since we booked the Breeze last April for this March in a cove balcony. We now have $355 OBC!!---but I check all the time.

We have a cove booked for the Breeze in May. I knew we have had a few price drops so went and checked my paperwork. So far we have saved $498! :) The last two price drops happened after we paid off the cruise, so now we have a nice OBC to play with. :D

Have seen a few on cove balconies on the Magic. I check often but most of mine have shown up right around the time final payment was due.

By reading these boards it seems that most all cruises come down in price.

in 18 cruises we have only had 2 cruises come down.

all others sailed at more then what we paid.
