sjde Posted October 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2016 It seems many world cruises start in January. Is that because people want to get away from our winter? What is the bext time for weather in Asia and the South Pacific- cooler and/ or drier?
Rare Scrapnana Posted October 29, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 29, 2016 The only two world cruises that I know of that do not start in January are on Hapag-Lloyd (German) and Princess out of Australia. On the world cruise I did the weather in February in the South Pacific was hot and humid with mostly sunny days. We arrived in Asia during the middle of March. The four ports in Japan, one in South Korea, and two in China were cool but dry. You needed a light jacket. From Hong Kong on (to Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, UAE, and Jordan) it was hot and dry.
Rare Keith1010 Posted October 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2016 There are a couple of factors but one is clearly weather particularly for those who live in North America and Europe. It also begins after the holidays. Keith
