Is this coupon book still available to all cruisers. I did a thread search and the most recent update was back in February. I was wondering if all the rooms and/or ships still have this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks :D

Apparently this one is given through TA's for special sales weeks and is good for use through December 31, 2009. I just bought one on EBAY for $18. We were originally booked on a cruise where I was told I would receive this one, but when I rebooked at a lower rate that "perk" went away. There is also one given to all cabins which reportedly is not as good, does not have the same coupons, such as the buy one get one free coffee cards, that the one you are referring to has.

Here is a recent thread with much more detail about the coupon books.

Actually, this coupon book was never available to all passengers. It was a special perk given by certain TA's to passengers who booked during a specific time frame it seems. We did a B2B and received them on the second leg, but not on the first. We received the two on our last cruise almost three weeks ago, and I posted on the live thread when we returned home that the first two who emailed me, I would mail them to. It took about 5 minutes to receive two responses. ;) We never used one coupon out of either book, so it was a good deal for those hanging around CC that day. :)

Thanks Toto, and JCsunrise(for the recent thread)

I did a search for Onboard Savings booklet, and thought I read some thread started back in January that they were offering it in all staterooms as opposed to the old coupon booklet. Maybe it was about replacing the terrible books with different terrible booklets. lol...who knows.

Oh well, I booked directly through Princess using a past passenger discount and I suppose since I don't drink coffee it's not really worth it. I would love the buy 1 get 1 blackjack tourney admission though I'm sure I'll live. I'm sure they'll be great port day spa deals also. I could really use a good massage. :D

You do realize that if you find a better price through a travel agent, you can transfer your booking to them, still receive the past passenger discount (and usually quite a bit more), don't you? You do not have to book direct to receive the past passenger rate, and many travel agents discount on top of that? Just an little FYI! ;)

I do this all the time. I find that most TAs initial prices are higher than what I can get with my past passenger discount. I just give my TA my princess number and I get both the TA's extras (usually ship board credit, wine, and chocolate covered strawberries) and the discount.

When looking on Ebay, what is the coupon book called, if there are a few?

Thanks!

We were given two of the good coupon books by our TA on our cruise in Sep and I offered the coupons we didn't use here on CC. I do still have the 2 for 1 casino coupon you mentioned, and the 15 minutes free internet - if you are going before 31 Dec let me know and I'll get one or both to you. bj2757 at yahoo.com

I did a search on EBAY for "Princess Coupons". I also searched "Princess Onboard Savings" and had a couple of matchs. Have to look carefully, though because at that time one of the offerings sounded to be the more generic discount coupon distributed to all on board, while most were the "Onboard Savings Booklet-$350 Value" ones obtained through bookings for special sales weeks. The onboard savings booklet had the "buy one get one free coffee card" listed in the description. Good luck!

Thanks, I did go onto Ebay, and there were a few to bid on. From the list of what was included in the book, I think the only thing I'd use would be the coffee card. I did put in a bid, but won't know for awhile if I will win it.

Well that's a bummer, I was looking more forward to the spa discounts. I checked Ebay also, and $18 seems pretty average for the going rate. Thanks so much.

Kissara, I just gave one of these coupon books away for FREE. Ironically

the CC poster who responded lives only a short distance from me!

If you would like my other coupon book, please contact me

at himmerz at comcast dot net and I will be happy to mail it to you

for FREE. It's already sealed up in an envelope ready to mail. All I remember about it is that it does expire 12/31/09.

We're going cruising again in February, but this book won't do us a bit

of good.

Please put a heading of Princess Coupon Book so that I know it's

not spam.

Ours were waiting for us too and said they were a gift from our TA. But the newer type we received had an expiration date of Decembeer 31, 2009 printed on them. So, there may be a newer coupon booklet out there if TA's have promised them to clients sailing in January. ;)

I'm cruising on the Jan 30th Crown and my TA told me we were eligible to receive a coupon booklet. I'm not sure if he will give us the coupon book or it will be sitting in our cabin when we get there.

Mimi

This particular $325 coupon book was delivered to our stateroom by our

cabin steward. We never used ONE coupon out of both books.

From my memory, there is a good deal for the coffee, and there were

some great coupons for $40 off spa deals. Can't remember the rest,

but it definitely is not the Passport to Savings coupon book that we

receive on all our other cruises.

Expiration date: 12/31/09, so not good for 2010.
