Silversea Announces New Cruise Ship to Debut in 2020

I haven't even taken my first Silversea cruise, but I'm excited about this news! We expect to retire in 2020. This would be an incredible way to celebrate that retirement!

Appreciate this interesting news. For me, a key detail was "The new ship will bring Silversea's fleet of ocean-going cruise ships and expedition vessels to 10." And, the Silversea owner wants to be at twelve or more ships, total, in the overall fleet for the future. Sounds like SS will keep looking for more unique and special ports and destination. That's one of our key personal interests in liking the variety of sailing locations to visit.

So disappointed to read this. As small ship fans we were hoping that the next new ship would be well under 500 passengers, especially as Silversea has only just launched the Muse.
