Hi just recieved our confirmation for this sailing. Really excited and looking forward to a great week. Also arriving on friday the 9th and would be intrested in sharing a tour before boarding. Sounds like we should get a reservation in for a tour with all the activity that will be going on at the port. If anyone is intrested please let us know.

Larry -

We had a wonderful trip.... The weather was great all week long.

I really got into the sailing aspect of the ship; most of the time you could find me up near the bridge watching what was going on. (I liked t so much that I booked the transatlantic from Lisbon to Barbados this fall!)

The Euro is used on board for all purchases; No cash; everything s put on your shipboard account. cokes run about 2 euros; I think the virgin drinks were 4-5 euros. I didn't buy anything stronger.

In St. Lucia we did the zip line excursion. That was a lot of fun.

In Dominica, I walked up to the fort located in Cabritz National Park; It offers excellent views of the bay and ship below.

In Antigua, we walked over to Nelson's Dockyard in English harbor. It's a wonderful collection of old buildings, both restored and repurposed.

In St. Kitts we enjoyed the train excurson.

In Isles Des Saints we walked around the town and had lunch.

In Martinique my wife took the bus tour of the city and I spent about 2 hours walking through the town...

Enjoy your cruise!

Aloha,

john
