As long as your in range of shore based towers. Bar Harbor is usually a tender port.

Portland will be fine. Bar Harbor, as noted is a tender port, and even on shore, there may be spots where coverage is not good. Northern Maine is still marginally covered by most carriers, but the coastal areas are better than inland.
