Both Uber and Lyft have apps for that. Just add them to your cell phone. Press the button and be ready for the vehicle. Easy.

We use Uber occasionally. It is meant to be cashless but we tend to give a cash tip. The cost of Uber is always much less than a taxi.

We have used Uber going to and from cruise ports in Ft Lauderdale and Sydney. Always showed up promptly and saved waiting on line for a taxi after the cruise

For your own security: Ask them who they are there for so u are sure they know your name instead of asking if they are so and so.
