How many swimsuits do you take for a 7-day Caribbean cruise?

We're heading on the Oasis in December (7 night/8 day) with 3 ports. On the days we are at sea, we definitely plan on lounging by the pool.

How many swimsuits do you take with you?

I take 2 or 3.

You are going to find ALOT of different replies though;) I have

read postings over the years from gals who take 7 or 8.

I will take 3, unless I find a 4th that fits well. I'm on the Oasis in Sept. I will have a balcony to help dry suits also.. first time!! whooo hooo.

I'm sure this depends on the size of the suit also, if its a bikini 12 would take the space of my one suit... lol

I take 5 - one for each excursion and then 2 pool ones- i hate salt water dried on my suits.

4 or 5 for me. I like to have variety.

At least 3. Sometimes a 4th.

2 or 3 for me, too....I don't like having "criss-crossing" tan lines, so the fewer different suits, the better!

I'm taking 3 for my 7 day cruise. Swimsuits are not my favorite thing to shop for or wear.

If I planned on swimming every day, then I would take 5 at least.

I have taken three, but they were mainly for snorkeling excursions or the hot tub.

At least 4. Maybe 5. But I stay pre cruise too and like a different suit for each day.

9. I have a pre and post cruise day. I have a ton of suits; they are small and take up minimal packing room.

I only own 2, but that's enough for me. AS long as one can dry while I wear the other, I'm happy.

I cannot abide pulling a wet swimsuit back on, so I take at least a half dozen. If I've been in the water and have to use the restroom, I'm putting on a dry suit or getting dressed. I realize I'm completely neurotic about it though.

I usually take three. I'm a diver and have a tank suit that I prefer under my wetsuit. Then, I bring a fancier one for the therapy pool, and a spare for just in case. I don't use the regular ship pools or hot tubs and I wash out the suits every time I wear them.

If I want to sunbathe, I do it on my balcony and not by the pool.

3 for sure....maybe 4 :)

I live in Florida but only own 3 bathing suits....I never go to the beach.

I take at least 5 and have taken up to 9...one for each day and a couple pre day. That's just me though...I don't need one for each day, it's more of a want and kind of fun for vacation :p

I'd take 3 for the 3 different ports, and then 2 for the other days...so 5 total.

& the only reason I'd bring so much is because I have so many of them so I might as well bring them and put them to use...plus I don't like wearing dirty swimsuits.

you sound like me! I already bought 3 new ones, and I'm sure I'm going to end up picking up at least one more smh

good to know I usually take 3, then again I'm kind of a land shark LOL!!!

I took four swimsuits, but only used two. However, I did not do beach excursions when we went into port. If I had done beach shore excursions, I probably would have used all four. I took several coverups also.

I take 2 so that I always have a dry one. I wash one out after wearing it and then hang it to dry and alternate suits every day.

But I don't like to pack a bunch of stuff and I hate swim suit shopping so this works well for me. :D
