Transportation Embassy Suites OSJ by bus or tram

Hi everyone I was wondering to save on several cab fares back and forth to Old San Juan if there were any other means of transportation?

There's a bust stop on Isla Verde Ave. near the Embassy suites. The bus costs .75 cents and the terminal in Old San Juan is just in front of the cruise docks. I could take you about an hour or more to reach OSJ and unfortunately, the drivers don't really keep to a tight schedule. Other than that, taxi is the only option, besides renting a car. UBER is available in PR but there have been some controversial clashes with the taxi drivers and UBER drivers because taxi drivers are claiming protected territory on any and all tourists areas. You cannot catch and Uber ride from the hotel but they will pick you up further down from it. So use at your own risk, for now.

Also, cab fares are per trip, not per person, so if there are several of you, you might be able to save a bit by sharing taxis.
