Posters for Princess Canal transit

Two years ago on the Coral Princess people made posters which they held over their balcony rails or the Promenade deck rail as we sailed through some locks. The ship's photographers shot videos from the shore, which you could view later in the photo gallery. We didn't participate, but later wished we had. Does anyone know if they still do this? I think Princess supplied some supplies. Has anyone done this on a prior cruise?

Yes, they still do this or at least they did last week on the Coral. On that trip, they also hired a helicopter to fly over the ship during the transit & capture photos and videos. We bought the reflections DVD's, but have not looked at them yet as just got back home two days ago. They had the photo's shot from the shore on display to be purchased separately, with all the others.

Something else I had not seen before was passengers brought beach towels or flags to clip to the inside of their balcony railing when in port, that had a sports team, US or state flag on them. You noticed them when going ashore for tours.
