Shoreside excursions in the Caribbean

Ms. Mowgli

Recommended Posts

Good morning!

I was looking at Seadream's Facebook page and saw some great pictures of the free shore side excursions that the crew members lead.

If you participated, can you recount to me what the activity was and if you enjoyed it? What is the difficulty level? Which was your favourite?

Thank you!

We enjoyed at least four crew led hikes during our recent Christmas week cruise. A local guide was hired for one of the hikes and on the other three, the activities director or the captain led us. All were great fun and a terrific way to see the islands. You should bring close toed hiking shoes or sneakers for the hikes as although the trails are marked, there are many places where there are exposed roots and slippery rocks, both small and big. In some cases, there were opportunities to swim after the hikes. If you are able to hike, I highly recommend these excursions.
