Mexico on Christmas Day?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has spent time in Mexico at Christmas time?

We will be in PV on Christmas day and we are just wondering what to expect. Do you think we should plan to stay aboard that day or will things still be open and operating?

I live part time in Cabo San Lucas. The Mexicans celebrate on Christmas Eve. Christmas day is pretty much business as usual. Some places may open later although, I didn't see much of that this past Christmas.

Same thing in San Carlos, business as usual. But New Year's Day is another story.

We were in PV this last Christmas, nothing was any different than the other 5 times we have been there.

Same thing in San Carlos, business as usual. But New Year's Day is another story.

Exactly, that's because the bars stay open even later than usual.:eek:

Not in Cabo. They were gearing up. All of the restaurants and bars were open. Most of the street shops close around 7 pm and nothing was different there, but everything opened later on New Year's Day.

Oh, all the restaurants and bars were open in San Carlos, but most of the other businesses were closed by 1 pm.
