Monarch of the Seas - How is the gym?

I take spinning and strength training classes, however if these classes aren't offered I can do circuit training and cardio machines.

Do they offer classes on her and what is the biggest weight?

The gym is very limited on Monarch and Majesty. There are a few treadmills, next to no freeweights, and a some machines. Check out Freedom class ships for an awesome fitness center at sea.

Oh yeah I found this out. We sailed her earlier this month. It was adequate for a short cruise, but not if we had a 7 day itinerary.

I wish there was a way to find out how the spinning bikes are on the other class ships. I have spinning shoes and I would rather not pack them if the bikes don't have the clips.

We're thinking our next cruise will be Oasis.

Yes, I agree. Nothing against Monarch and Majesty, but they are older ships and don't have much room for Freedom and even Voyager class fitness centers. I don't think that she had many classes. Liberty of the Seas's gym was AMAZING! SO BEAUTIFUL! And she (and I'm sure the others in the Freedom and Oasis class do too) had the best machines! Love me some Liberty!

Sorry but just had to say that Monarch to Oasis was just a little upgrade :)
