1 night pre-Barbados

Does anyone have a suggestion for a 1 night pre-cruise hotel in Barbados.

We will be sailing on the Seabourn Pride from Barbados on November 28,2004.

Seabourn is using Glitter Bay and I have seen mixed reviews on this hotel.

Thank you in advance.:o:o

Glitter Bay is OK, but not terrific.

Sandy lane is our best, but the minimum at 11/13-12/17 is US$850/night for the Orchid Room and it's a little small. Plus it's a 3-day minimum.

How would like something out of the ordinary, exclusive and perhaps the most beautiful property on the island?

Crane Beach, Barbados

The Crane Hotel is in the background and to the left up a 30-50' stairway.

Lifestyles of The Rich and Famous rates it as one of the ten best beaches in the world and the hotel is also fabulous. It draws the Brits on the Concorde (past tense) like flies to a candle every Saturday afternoon.

You will not forget overlooking the beautiful beach and the water while dining in one of their fabulous restaurants that have won many, many awards.

It's about 15 minutes from Grantley Adams Airport and 30 minutes to the cruise terminal.

Just booking their simple, but nice, hotel room is only US$175 during the time you'll be there. If you want to splurge, their Ocarn View Private residence complete with pool is US$735. They have rooms everywhere in between.

Find their site HERE.

There is only one problem with The Crane: You won't want to leave!

Have a great time on the island! :)
