Whale Watch

Approximately 3 - 3 1/2 hours

From 8/20-10/2: 8:30am & 1:00pm

from 10/3- late Oct: 12:00 noon

Olie's Trolley - http://www.acadiaislandtours.com/index.html

Enjoy a 2½ hour fully narrated tour Acadia Nationa Park

May through October, Daily Tours leave downtown Bar Harbor at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM

Since I believe you are sailing in mid-October, I don't think you can do both. If you can only do one, I would tour Acadia National Park because Bar Harbor is the only port of call that has tours of ANP.

Also IMHO whale watching can be iffy as to what you see.. in Alaska the tours from Juneau, Sitka etc. see whales about 95% of time in more "confined" area.. there's a lot of ocean in the Atlantic and while the skippers sort of know where the whales are hanging out...

I'd do ACP .. gorgeous place and Bar Harbor is charming town
