? On board credit AQ

We are planning a river trip in Dec. Does American Queen use on board credit like the ocean ships? Don't kow if I have to take a wad of cash or could just put it all on plastic at the end of the trip.

Will be the first time on a river cruise.

We had an OBC from AQ it went towards the gratuities, bar bill & shop purchases

I suppose for the paid excursions also but most of those were booked up in advance

Plastic works just fine at the end of the trip. Tips for staff are also placed on your statement unless you ask otherwise.
