TUI Discovery Paradise Islands and Tropical Delights departing Christmas

Hi all

Newbie here to cruises and forums!!! Was just wondering if anyone else was going on this trip departing Christmas Day from Barbados.

Never been on a cruise before and don't really know what to expect with regards to attire especially NYE and what normally goes on.

Any advice would be great.

Hi we have been many times on cruise. For NYE in tropical countries we have noticed that the dress is not that formal. In Brasil for example they like to wear white for New Years Eve and this is what we did while in Rio. I had a white dress greek style. I am planning to wear the same dress for our cruise with Mein Schiff in Malaysia.
