Papeete for a day

Our windstar cruise gets back to Papeete at 10 AM and our flight doesn't leave until 11PM what should we do and is there anywhere to store luggage for the day.

You can store luggage at the airport, just outside the street that runs next to the PU?drop off there is a hut inside the parking area, you can't miss it. They charge a fee.

As far as what to do I usually rent a car close to the ship marina and then keep my bags in the drunk. We'll drive around the main island visiting museums, cultural areas, botanical garden area, lighthouse, view some waterfalls .........

Around 7:00pm we stop back at the marina area and eat dinner at the one of roulettes. Then off to the airport where we drop off the car and proceed to check-in.
