Breakaway going to Baltics in April 2018

Will probably be replaced by the Escape for cruises from New York.

I'm glad about this, I love the breakaway. I cruised on her to Bermuda :-)

Now she's coming closer to where I live (UK) I hope I will cruise on her again :)

Escape is now listed for 2018 cruises to Bermuda on the NCL website. A newer larger ship for Bermuda.

I need to look into whether they redesigned the central public areas to contain the smoke from the casino. That was my main issue with Breakaway and why I woudn't book Breakaway again, the second hand smoke leaked badly into the public areas.

I've heard this but I didn't find this to be a problem at all. What year did you sail on her? :-)

I sailed on her in 2013. I found it to be a big problem. I am very sensitive to second hand smoke. I don't use the casino much so I can deal with smoking in the casino if it is contained in the casino. I read somewhere that they were planning to correct the design on newer build ships but I have not researched to see if they actually did so. If they have I would put it on my list of possibles for my Bermuda cruises.

Oh okay! I think I cruised around the same time. That is a massive shame. Can't say that I'm sensitive to smoke so maybe that's why I have never noticed, still find it really really strange that it's allowed at all.
